Must have been a pox...but it did spawn a new question...ever write something from so deep inside that after it was written, you felt like a piece of you is GONE?

Dear Sleepless,
if I write something that I feel is a part of me, I usually give it to someone I love. That way it is still close to my heart.
Wish you were sleepless when I was last night, at least we could have kept each other company.

Pretty much EVERY time I write a poem, serenity... When I'm done, I have an overwhelming sense of being 'drained'... and I need to regroup...

i never really felt like a part of me was gone, more like new parts of me keep unfolding and old parts keep surfacing but that's a very interesting concept, serene-one.... hmmm...

i do know all about the sleepless thing... yep...

But it did occur to me that maybe that's why I write so dark at times...kinda like taking out the garbage or something. Or an exorcism.
