I will quote some lyrics from a song and the first person to
tell what song it came from gets to quote the next lyric/lyrics.
Since some lyrics are duplicated in other songs the person
here that put in the quote will have to say who the winner is.
If no one gets the song after a few days they should give the
answer and then give a different lyric quote from a different
song, so the game may continue on.
You can add clues if you like.

Lyric:
“I’ve got a little black book with my poems in”

ARTIST: Pink Floyd
TITLE: Nobody Home

quote:

I've got a little black book with my poems in
I've got a bag with a toothbrush and a comb in
When I'm a good dog they sometimes throw me a bone
I got elastic bands keeping my shoes on
Got those swollen hand blues

Partial quotes from songs are ok to copy here, but use of the full lyrics is considered copyright infringement...so when you reply with an answer, just use part of the song!!

Can I go for ya since PdV hasn't replied yet?  I'm gonna say

"Have your faith in the ever after, while each of us holds inside a map to the labrinth" There's a hint to this one, but only a perceptive person may catch it.....hehe.

Is it by D.B. from the movie with that same clue name?
What could the title be though!

This is a total guess, LOL,  but since I know you, I'm going to guess "The Promise" by Tracy Chapman.

Man, I love Pink Floyd's The Wall!

Ho ho ho, I see this perception thing now.. Too bad I'm not really.. The song is "Heaven's Here on Earth"

I'll go! I'll go! Hehehe...

"Is this all that's left
Of my life before me
straight-jacket memories, sedative highs?"

Hmm.. I hope someone out there has heard this song... It's a crime against anyone with a mind to not listen to this album.. (there's a hint in there...LOL)

Abe, I do believe that was Queensryche: "Eyes of a Stranger."  On Mindcrime, if I recall...?

How about this one (should be easy):

"I laugh and I joke /and I sing and I laugh /and I dance and I laugh/ and I laugh and I laugh ..."

(will give y'all more if you need it -- hehe)

Woohoo! Someone knows Queensryche!

I'm with Javi though.. I need a clue..

OK, here's another clue:

"I can't take it anymore
This it I've become
This is it like I get
When my life's going numb
I just keep moving my mouth
I just keep moving my feet
I say I'm loving you to death
Like I'm losing my breath"

And if the lyrics don't give it away ... my ex used to call this the "poor me" band because the singer sounds like he's going to break down and cry at any moment ....

Oh, and the title has NOTHING to do with the subject of the song itself.
