PdV has too much time on her hands.... hehe... How does hold time in their hands anyway??... I'm sure the one about the clocks in Vegas is true - and the reason is that they don't want people gambling to think about time... The rest - I'm researching... I'll get back to ya..

#1- Money is made from a special type of cloth, but I'm not sure if it contains cotton

#4- True!

#9- True!

#11- I've heard that before

#12- True! (that's why it shimmers)

#17- True! (It might be some other material, but they weren't made from metal)

That's all I know offhand..

False gems may shine as brightly as the genuine article, but there are always those who can tell the difference.

7. A female ferret will die if it goes into heat and cannot find a mate.

Not strictly true.

A female ferret may die if it goes into heat and cannot find a mate but that is not always true. Female ferrets or Jills can become anaemic during heat and are also susceptible to Septicaemia this means an unmated ferret is at a higher risk than most animals but death is not necessarily the outcome.

Funny, I watched a program the other night, "Worlds biggest money secrets."

YES, money is actually made out of cotton. And I think something else. It is actually illegal for anyone, or any other state to possess this certain kind material. It has woven within it red threads.

#5, that is true also...it's biblical and the dot is Hebrew...and in the bible it says I shall not change not one tittle or jot of the law. That is the smallest mark there is. That would be of course . . . .  hmmmm....

18. YES, that is true, there are no clocks in Vegas. My husband has been there. Drink and spend money....the only goal. That and you wouldn't know what time it was.

19. That I wouldn't doubt at all. They just showed the marks on the new bills they printed. Lots of little things, and numbers, and the American Flag hidden.

Well, I can only answer one definitively.

#2 is false.  The term 'Heinz 57' was a marketing tool.  Nothing more than a slogan.

This was taken from: http://www.heinz.com:80/jsp/consumer_faq.jsp#11

11. What is the significance of "57"?

The Heinz 57 Varieties slogan is synonymous with the
name "Heinz." Our corporate history tells us that in
1896, Henry John Heinz noticed an advertisement for
"21 styles of shoes." He decided that his own products
were not styles, but varieties. Although there were
many more than 57 foods in production at the time,
because the numbers "5" and "7" held a special
significance for him and his wife, he adopted the
slogan "57 Varieties." Thus, a new advertising
campaign was launched for Heinz 57 Varieties — and
               the rest is history!
