What is something that you have lost in your life (or just have no longer) that still means the most to you?

Do songs on the radio sing to all the fools in love?

I will always cherish time with family members. Not just ones that have passed away, but ones that I don't see often as well. My family is pretty widespread now. This weekend just gone was the first time in ages that I've had both parents and my sister and her family all under the one roof.

The sweet innocents of my sons. I'd give anything to have that back.

I guess it's only fair if I chime in

1.  my violin
2.  any sort of relationship with my parents
3.  my brother's life and what he's lost

Do songs on the radio sing to all the fools in love?

my beautiful girls

love

hope

faith

happiness

I would rather have one breath of his hair,
one kiss of his mouth,
one touch of his hand
than an eternity without it.

My family and friends who stand by me, and accept me unconditionally.  Lately, I am terribly guilty of shutting out those who mean the most to me,  in both the virtual and real sense of the word, and yet they still care and are there for me.  That to me, is all I could ever ask for and hope to give back in return!  In the end, it reinforces the fact,  that real love and friendship endures, and are the very ties that bind us.

.... in some form or another.

My little brother Holden.  He died when he was 3 months old.  Not a day goes by that I don't think about him...

I could say its people I have lost...but honestly right now... I miss my dog. After a lifetimes struggle with epilepsy he died last year and I miss him under my feet and cuddled next to me on cold nights. I miss his eyes, so soft and brown, with his whole heart shining in them when I come home. Its an ache I thought would go away but it never has. Funny huh?
