Despite how frustrated I am, I'm calm.
I'm tired of fighting the catch 22's.

The over $1,000.00 gas bill, in which you're always just over qualified to get any help with.

Trying to get an education and going through 10 yards of paperwork only to be told you don't qualify for finanical aid, because you're not enrolled in 6 credit hours. The reason you're not enrolled is because you can't afford the 6 classes at $150.00 a pop, that's why you need the financial aid they won't give you. Though you can hold your classes with $2 for each class, but what happens if they come back and tell you that you still don't qualify? You have to come up with the money to pay, or lose the money you put down, and quit school.

Sometimes I wonder how the hell people get up in the world.

The crappy health insurance you have to drive 45 minutes out of your way to go to a doctor in 'network' in which they line charge you to death, so you might as well have went to the one around the corner, because you'll owe just as much.

In the North, the only schools I know of who actually charge phenomenal costs to enroll your kids into a "free" public school. Grrrrr...

I'm SO tired of fighting today, I could just .

Anyone else running into these catch 22's?

Well, I know how hard it is to keep up with school tuition...and I'm only paying it for a community college. Wait until the four year ones. It's enought to do as it is, but with the catch 22's and all...not to mention other bills and whatnot....it's frustrating!

Maybe you need a vacation Becky.   (((hugs)))

LOL@Dopey...stay there as long as you can. I can so very relate and if I had the mental energy after being on the phone with a recording all day only to be given another number to call...over and over again, I would add more. Well, I least I know I'm not alone. Nice vent, by the way!

Dopey cherish it as long as you can.

JLR I know just what you mean. Spending those days on the phone, call after call, can be so very irritating.

I'm trying aicre. I'm trying.

I think I feel worse reading that you haven't had a vacation in so long than all the rest. I have to have several a year or I just can't function well. Not all of them are a week or two long but even the 4 day ones are great. Listen to Elizabeth,, take a vacation if you possibly can. In the meantime, get lots of hugs! There is one included with this reply. ((( )))

LOL Jamie! Let's see the years I've been out of the house, plus the 17 years I've been with my husband I haven't had one vacation.

I've moved all over the place, but no vacations. I could use one!

Good Javier!!

Thanks Shawna! I called the school today to check on my 'status' and found that I make (well the hubby makes) too much for me to qualify for any grants. (and seriously it's not that much) Only in Illinois I tell ya. You're always over qualified for any and everything. Good thing I didn't sign up for those 6 credit hours.

One class at a time whenever I can I guess.
But I will get through it if it takes me two years.

Don't know if these are catch 22's or not, but thought I would share it
Spending more than $200 to get your break line replaced on your car only to find out that your fuel line is bad and needs to be replaced.
Moving so you can cut down on wear and tear mileage and burden on your car only to endure a breakdown the first time you get on the highway after 2weeks!
And finally, putting $25 in your gastank, filling it up and breaking down and losing ALL of your gas in the transition of getting the car fixed and when you get it back, you have to put in another $25!

With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free..
