HYPNOSIS

close your eyes, take notice
of the process that's begun.
focus... and recognize
the prospects that i hum.
sentences strung, to the beat
of the drum.
relentless they come, your mind's
feeble and numb.
with power so great that even
evil succumbs!
my wordplay and puns are
equal to none.
no... there is no
hope to come.
my pen should be compared
to a smoking gun!
capable of any amount of attrocity:
i watch as bombs will fly
when i dot an "i" -
or crucify you when i cross a "t"!
ive slain monster metaphors
and superhuman similes!
and conjured and created
microphone mephistopheles!
because i promise that
honestly...
all of socrates' philosophies
are not for me!
i am the anomaly touching
deeper than a homily!
an alchemist creating more
metals/medals than can ever honor me!
so instead rally your army
and ponder me.
because the only battle is
your wits against mine!
ive got the missing piece that
fits in your mind!
make you hit play, then
switch to rewind.
search for the mystery,
listen and find:
i will morph and furthermore
shift your design.
do you feel your very wits
swiftly unwind?

because at times, im so conservative
when i rhyme,
i go crazy; and i dont even

I liked some of the rhymes. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to accept, you reject a philosophy while taking a firm metaphysical stance and that does not come through in your form.
