Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

I wake up in the mornings and see my face
always just been average to these eyes
I could use a little motivational upbeat pace.

Spring is springing in the air releasing hope
long walks on beautiful roads invigorating
giving my mind and body a new way to cope.

Age is chasing me as I run to try and escape
never me is what I told everyone, now look
it's trying to grab me and cause me to drape.

It won't happen seventeen looks too delightful
I'm reversing gears going back to my youth
that's my goal for appearance to be insightful.

I'm grabbing the bull bucking away those years
taking on a bronco is sure to make me soar,
as limitations have always stood creating fears.

With the sun now rising I shall exhibit willpower
taking on my own challenge beyond a doubt
knowing I am capable of reaching my own tower.

THAT'S IT!!...HEAR THIS.....LISTEN UP....I don't need a mirror...I know I'm old and don't look so great anymore(if I ever did)..but darn it us olduns sure as all getout do get a whole lot smarter...LOL
