Could Be Anywhere...

A TIME

There comes a time
  in each man's life
when that decisions hard are made.
There comes a time
  in each man's life
    when that man is afraid.

A space in time
  of aimless kind
    a searching of our own.
A touching care
  a searching stare
    a feeling all have known.

There comes a time
  for each and all
    to wonder at the sky.
There comes a time
  when love we find
    and softly kiss goodbye.

(note:this is the first i ever got published
went the anthology route in the eighties...
isn't that a terrible price for vanity?
Now after thirty plus years writing this stuff
I realize, I don't care much about publication
like I once was obsessed with...now i write
simply because i have to if i want to keep
what ever sanity i have left at my disposal.
              bleeding ink as always,

I'd like to get my work published, but I hope to also be like you and come to terms and say, "Hey it's okay if I don't, but I'll always keep on writing." Which, I know I will.  I like this poem btw! (hee.hee.)

Bleeding I Like this Poem.

And, sometimes it's just knowing...
That your work is out there, is satisfaction
Kinda of like leaving your mark in the
world
I think of it as others knowing who u really are.

Your failures in life come from not realizing your nearness to success when you give up.

thank y'all for your kindness, input and welcome! Not a very auspicious beginning
to post something with a typo..(that-should not appear in line three} but i am training
some new voice recognition software that hasn't quite figgered out my Okie accent...
If y'all don't mind i will continue to share
both archive and fresh work...
