This is either very early or a little late. Like most things in my life, it's actually a little late

February 29th.

As I awoke this morning,
From my slumbers in my bed,
As I had finished yawning,
A thought came to my head,
That a leap day was a-dawning,
I could be asked to wed!

I couldn't help but wonder,
If I was what would I do?
I know I wouldn't ponder,
If the asker could be you.

I'd say, 'I do, I will, yes please,'
And live my life in bliss,
But I know that it won't happen,
So I'll make do with a kiss.

Your pen always has neat colored ink, this color's a bit on the sad side, but inspiring all the same, very nice glad you shared it with us.

a little late, but no too late. Be glad you weren't born on a leap year, or were you?  lol.  I don't know what I'm talking about.

Your usual good stuff Cat.

If a gift from the one you love
is "only" a simple kiss
that single moment can and will
fill your heart with bliss.

Esme.&JC..Thank you. It wasn't meant to be sad. Perhaps I just have that sort of face

Jack...Time seems to go quicker the older I get...You are right, it will fly.

Joy...Neither do I...lol Thank you for the sentiments,

Denise...Many thanks.

Childo...I shall treasure your rhyme thank you

Too cute.  No doubt though, a lucky woman.

No doubt.. A very lucky woman.. Best wishes for you.. Wonderfully worded...

MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU,
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS
AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND
