This is what I’ve gathered so far
In my short time with Passions
A lot of people that there are
In all different styles and fashions...

Denise is attentive—she runs the place
Along with Poet DeVine
Both seem anxious to greet a new face
And are watching all the time;

Majestic is there with an encouraging post
To encourage the author to write;
Yes, this tactic works more than most
It had me up a whole night...

Gary is new—so am I too
As you can tell from my posts;
Local Rebel posts a few
And gets replies from ALL the hosts;

Pepper is nice and replies frequently
To others’ rhyming work
A lot seem to like works of Deep Blue Me
And I think some think I’m a jerk...
[Well, they’re probably right lol]

JOY14 writes like a dream
And replies she attracts as well;
Some may not, but I know what it means—
LngJhnAg’s name is hard to tell...
[Ag is silver on the Periodic Table]

Wendy Flora is widely known
And she writes excellent prose;
A saddening story that she wove
As all the people here knows

Munda writes with a rhythm and rhyme
That rarely I’ve seen before
I like reading her poems all the time
And wish she would write some more;

Of Alicat’s topics, there’s little I know
Being that I’m only 14
But some of his poems really can show
What it’s like, if you know what they mean;

Elizabeth Santos writes not very long
But that doesn't mean it's not good
She's really quite fluid, like a song
And is very easily understood

brandondinsmore writes better than me
And posts a lot more than I
But I hope to improve as you can see
From what I observe from you guys

WildChild is good for the Pub's morale
And adds some good flavor too
Martie's just entered from the Main Forum now
I hope I can write just as good as you...

Nan is great--there's no debate
On that subject here;
She writes like a wonder, I can't wait
To see her next post near!
-------------------------------------
More I will add but for now I must go
For us little dragons need sleep
I’m really quite tired—how it feels some of you know
And I can’t wait to start dreaming deep....

...zzzz....
fell asleep on the keyboard

Very cute poem here. I didn't know dragons slept. I thought they were always busy guarding treasure 24/7. LOL

You are a newbie!! Didn't even see you come in. Well, welcome to Passions. I hope you love it as much as the rest of us do.

As far as offending anyone ya didn't offend me. Oh I'm the only one here so far LOL. Happy writing and again welcome Little_Spyro

And thank you all for replying! I'll be sure to include all of you in my poem!

I'm going to try and maintain this as an ongoing project--so expect this to be long!
=)

Oh yes, and thank you to any of you who are reading these replies and replying further...
(I think I'm using the word 'reply' too much, so I'm going to stop now)

I like this!     I thought it was very creative and generous.  (BTW, you asked how to make the smiley faces?  It's a colon : and then a close-parentheses ) side by side, no space.    See?  How cute are THEY?   You can see I like them.  )  Thank you for your wonderful presence!   -wen

  This made me smile.  You've a wonderful heart to think of everyone and add them to your poem..

 MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU,
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS
AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND

Get the Root Beer from the stack
Can't you see the kid is back
In the corner sitting on that chair
Hiya Kid mind your breath
I Don't want to be burnt to death
Glad to see you 'cus you know we care

You ask me to be put in verse
Well I don't know...could be a curse
You might expose to much of my sin
But then I think you are so good
You could write good verse in blood
Well Ok just this time count me IN

Can I still get to be in this?
Though I am lesser than the rest.
Your words about them were really sweet,
I hope saying this don't make me a pest!!

This is a great poem so far....may it get ever longer!!

Love and hugs,
Lizzie

To put myself into words
Is harder than it sounds
Picky like the birds
Too much left to be found

Thinking of lifeless thoughts
Loving endless flaws
Falling into more things bought
And breaking all the laws

Hmmm.  How's that?

I have not long got here,
Yet you say that you're new too,
Yet word of Spyro I had heard,
Reputation preceded you

 May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out.

Uh...well, you guys are too kind!
I've been 'on vacation' for a while now, but I guess it's time to get back to work...so Little Spyro T. Dragon is back on the job!

Thanks so much everyone for replying to this post (this is the most replies I've ever gotten on a single post before in all my time here!) Without you guys I wouldn't have the confidence to write more...

I'll get to all of you guys eventually, please keep on checking back on this to see if I managed to squeeze you in!

Yet again, thanks so much everyone!
