LADY OF MY HEART, SWEET LOVE OF MY LIFE
THOU ART FINE TO ME MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE
AS THE DAYS PASS AND THE YEARS SLIP AWAY
WHEN THOU ART SADDENED, HOLD THEY TEARS AT BAY
LOOK TO THY HEART, DEEP WITHIN THY BREAST.
AYE LOVE, TIS ME THERE YOU FEEL
THAT SPECIAL WARMTH BEATING FROM MINE OWN CHEST.
TIS STRANGE, THIS THING CALLED LOVE.

BUT PLEASE MY LADY, I WOULD HAVE THEE KNOW
NAY, NOT EVEN IN DEATH WILL MY LOVE CEASE TO GROW
TO MY SWEET MICHELE, COME TO ME FROM ABOVE
I GIVE TO THEE THE ONLY THING THAT I HAVE;
                               MY LOVE

lol Majestic--I know you probably thought Denise [dsnyder] was going to reply first, but I beat her to it...lol

Good poem! The first one I ever wrote was unintelligible at any level...of course, I was seven when I wrote it

How'd you like to have me write a poem with you in it?
...if you're not in somebody else's poems already...

Well I would have been here sooner, guys, if I wasn't frozen out of my computer.....arrrrghhhh.....*taking deep slow breaths* OK...I'm fine now...thank you...

Well now for the poem....I think it is beautiful and sweet and I'm sure your wife would like you to frame it and hang it on the wall.....in clear view....so whenever you guys have a fight she can point *slyly* to it and say......hey, I thought you loved me?!!! hehehehehe...we love doing that!!

Great poem, Keith!!!

Engraved? That's a great idea, I never thought of doing that. Thanks for the idea!

Keith, maybe you could ask your wife if you could share the poem that she wrote for you with us too!    < !signature-->

Very touching.. You're lady is lucky..

MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU,
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS
AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND
