A soliloquy - Regarding Lady Guinevere

When I awake in the morn,
I think of Thee!
While'st I prepare to face the world,
I think of Thee!
Through the demands of my day,
My mind will slip away,
A smile will come and stay,
I think of Thee!

As I pause to eat a meal,
I think think of Thee!
Where would you be right now,
I think of Thee!
Though you wont be by my side,
My feelings I cannot hide,
In my heart you shall reside,
I think of Thee!

With Sir Lancelot, off you rode,
I think of Thee!
How truely bless't He is,
I think of Thee!
You've made your choice, quite wise,
Now you'll never hear my sighs,
You're a Goddess in mine eyes,
I think of Thee!

Be happy, M'Lady I pray Thee

What is that lovely hum I hear ?
It sound like music to my ears
I hear words so divine
They are in perfect chime

Hello Sir Dennis, don’t fear
It’s only me, did you also hear
That lovely melody just now
It almost sounded like a vow

Where is Lancelot my Knight
Will we make it through this night
I must say Sir Dennis dear
My heart is filled with fears

Will Arthur find us and if so
Will he be angry, full of woe
Will he harm my Lancelot
Send him away from Camelot

I do not wish to think that I
Will never see this love of mine
Thrive to fullest ecstacy
For sure it would kill  part of me

Lancelot, my Lancelot, to be or not to be
That is the question, now hurry let us flee

Still I wish I knew what it was I heard before
It sounded beautiful, feels like Angels in my core

Avast White Knight must have no fear
Go capture Lady Guinevere
Don't be a wimp get on your horse
You'll have to face Sir Lance of course.

Sweet Guinevere, I fear I have bad news to tell thee, dear.
I must leave on a quest, by Arthur’s behest,
In search of the Holy Grail along with Sir Percival.
But when I return to the palace, with the golden challis,
I shall fill it with a brew that will give Arthur his due.
Then my love, I will come to thee in the wee hours of the night
And stand beneath thy window--
This, your shining Knight.
In the bye and bye, do not fly too far from my heart.
For, it will not be long that we must be apart.

Excuse, M'Lady,
My thoughts aloud,
These words escape,
Where is no crowd.

My heart doth utter,
It's desire thwarted,
Now's not the time,
We must be departed!

Fear not M'Lady,
I'll spare Thee harm,
I sware to GOD,
By my right arm!

M'Lady will
Not suffer loss,
This I vow,
Upon his cross!

My brother Lance,
To a Quest must go,
But We will ride,
To a place I know.

A Haven sweet,
Where cometh rest,
No foe there,
To bring distress!

Away swift stead,
With mighty power,
Transport us now,
This very Hour!

Safe in my arms,
Nothing to fear,
(More sweet music,
You're bound to hear)!

To Xanadu!

Sir Dennis, White Knight, you must truly flee
‘Cause there’s a Damsel N Distress you see
She called upon you, a fearless White Knight
Flee to the rescue and to dragon fight

Please be careful and return sound and safe
To this Lady, because my heart will break
If something should happen to you my friend
I would cry a river without an end

I guess for now I will have to return
To Arthur, my consort, I must adjourn
My being together with Lancelot
Who’s off on a quest, away from Camelot

Oh how I will miss my true love, my Knight
This heart yearning for a sweet word at night
I’ll await your safe return to Camelot
My heart, my life, my true love Lancelot.

Behold! Yonder in the pale moonlight
Rides a man, no ‘tis a knight
Who comes to bear arms- to fight
To save us from this deathly plight

There he rides so handsome, so strong
My heart beats a lover’s song
But alas, ‘tis not to be, ‘tis wrong
His heart to me doth not belong

It has been rumored and I fear
His heart belongs to Lady Guinevere
But my heart still doth hold him dear
So in silence I shed these tears

Oh Lord I pray in this time of need
Bestow agility upon his steed
Guide him in this most noble deed
And return him with God Speed

Make the dragons blood run a deep red sea
And return thy brave White Knight to me
‘tis my only wish, I ask this of thee
On bended knee

M'Lady Guinevere

Is it prudent to return,
To King Arthur, taciturn,
Will you avoid a blood bath,
Stay clear of Arthurs wrath?

I must know you will be safe,
'Fore I rescue yonder waif!
You bid me, off to ride,
My apprehension I will not hide!

My prayers will be with Thee,
While'st from dragon, Damsel free.
Sir Lancelot will soon return,
If you're harmed, Arthur will burn!

Set strait, my stead the course,
Unleash thy mighty force,
We must rescue yonder Maiden,
Before this daylight be a fadin'.

Foul dragon, relinquish thy prize,
Or your pain I'll emphasize,
Damsel N. Distress I come for Thee,
Will bring this dragon to it's knees!

Good news to thee I bring
OH my heart doth sing
Thy knights fight was not in vain
he has conquered- the dragon has been slain
He's returned to us the head of th evile ugly beast
And now we shall have a celebratory  feast
Everyone is invited come one come all
To honor the knight who made the  dragon fall
Food and lager, music and dance
Perhaps this damsel may still have a chance
Maybe then thy White Knight will see
That my heart poundeth  for he

A feast Fair Damsel'N?
Well lead forth the way in,
In my honor it need not be,
Did my duty as a Knight to Thee,
Did'st no more or no less,
(But t'was Valiant, I must confess!)

The Dragon with firey dart,
Did close my soul depart,
Its' tail doth assault me sore,
T'was close to deaths cold door.
Flipped me with that vile thing,
I landed right behind His wing,
It looked 'round to where I did sail,
Slipped my steel thru armoured scale,
Thrust hard past muscle 'n bone,
Sought its' heart, for sins attone!
The Dragon gasp with great suprise,
I saw the terror in this serpents eyes,
As I hit my target sweet,
It collapsed at Damsel'Ns feet,
Convulsed in deaths strong grip,
To the pits of HELL did trip!
As Victor I severed its' vile head,
So all can see, IT'S DEAD!
This worthy opponent missed its' goal,
Left to it's fate in the bowels of Sheol!

Yes, an ale would suit me fine,
As I mend these wounds of mine.
The music so festive grand,
Should ask for Damsel'Ns hand,
But no more dance for me, I level,
For Today I danced with the DEVIL!

But tommorrow is another day,
What good fortune may come my way?

Here I am, all alone in my room
Art thou save my Lancelot ?
Without a message, I must assume
Thou’ll return safe to Camelot

I received a letter this morning
Stating of a courageous fight
Sir Dennis is now recovering
With a sweet Lady at his side

I hope the morning will arrive
I’ll see thee safe and sound
Who knows thee may bring a wife
I’ll look for thee until sundown

Please Lancelot, hear my plea
My heart is full of fear
Send thy Lady news of thee
Leave me not unaware

Oh Sir knights, and miladies ye verses upon thy page give thine eyes exercise in thou love. Miladies count ye lucky stars for thou doth have knights of honor. Take creedence in thy love and bless thee hands that sway thy swords, kneel before thy knights in ardent praise. Above all else continue ye verse whilst eyes of yonder be caressed with thou talent.

To Lady Guinevere

Sir Lancelot is a cunning foe,
He's put many the proud in soil below,
He left commissioned at the Kings behest,
And will succeed, fullfil his quest!

Has King Arthur treated M'Lady fair,
Has He harmed a single hair?
He'll pay dearly for such trespas'
When Lancelot returns home at last!

My wounds from battle doth quickly mend,
With rapt attention from Damsel'N,
With food and mirth and angel song,
She's been my companion a fortnight long.

My heart has taken a sudden turn,
It now for Damsel'N doth burn,
But to M'Lady my loyality shall ever be,
For your welfare, I Think of Thee!

To contribute to this, I am not able
This soap opera of the Round Table
But I can surely tell you this
Reading it has been pure bliss.

A lovely poem
