NO REASON!

Society can be cruel and mean
Her child was taken from her

He went to school, not knowing
that today would be his last day

Those boys came in shooting
Her son got caught in the blast

Why did this happened?
There was no reason

So many innocence died that day
From boys who felt no pain

Could anything have changed it?
If it could, those kids would be alive today.

I'm not sure what to say.  These poems touch me.  This tragedy and others like it are horrors that should not have been.  I have other thoughts on this but.......

Childomine and I are in the same "mental" place it seems.....

What can one say to such an awful tragic occurrence?

Indeed. If lessons are not learned and acted upon the tragedy will continue.

This act of voilence was a senseless tragedy!
We will always have a question in our mind,"WHY"? I really don't feel there are any answers, and only "GOD" knows the real truth,

Thank you for your sentiments on this tragic event! You expressed yourself well!

Life does hold many mysteries and only with time will we see what may come of them. I think if media did not glorify such events it would not make for fame when these lost souls cry out for attention. If adults could just take time to see and reach out to those crying before the destuction of their minds begin, then maybe just maybe there could be brightness shared for all.

Your poem is obviously great for it reached inside me and made me think and express my thoughts, great job.

A very touching poem. When will it be made unlawful to possess firearms?

May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out.

This really is tragic. They can't make it illegal to own firearms soon enough. Think  how many tradgedies could still be avoided if the law was passed today....

Love and hugs,

I don't think tragedies like this are ever understood.  They are senseless and inconsolable.  Faith in God is the only way I know of to come through.
