I see it around Yet, never truly experienced Couples are happy Marriages pour love Yet never truly experienced Am I different Marriages pour love Is it wasted on me? Am I different does anyone know? Is it wasted on me? Why haven't I been Does anyone know? Is love for the privileged Why haven't I been Do I resemble Frankenstein's monster? Is love for the privileged How I wish for that glorious feeling Do I resemble Frankenstein's monster? My spirit feels ugly How I wish for that glorious feeling My heart has never been touched My spirit feels ugly Is the inner me void? My heart has never been touched Am i too live my life never knowing? Is the inner me void? I step back from the world Am I to live my life never knowing? Couples are happy I step back from the world I see it around |

What sad verse, but you are not alone, many feel this way, only to find when love does come, it is all the more sweeter. Nice work here, welcome to the Pub Friend. this is a very good poem but sadness pours from it. I can relate to this poem and have asked myself many times before if I would ever find love. ~Dhuron... Welcome to the Pub!!  Sorry know everyone else already has lol, but I wanted to also. This is a great first piece to enter! I am saddened by the fact that you feel this way. But I believe all of us have felt like it at one time or another. YES you deserve love, and it will come to you. You just have to be patient. I know, easier said than done. BUT I am a firm believer in the saying "good things come to those who wait." Keep the faith hon, and try to SMILE!
