What when dark storm clouds appear
In the sky, there's sense of fear?
Or when the water's pouring down,
Many people keep a frown?

See today, the cleansing rain
Can wash away the worst of pain.

What when thund'rous storms draw near,
None can hide them, by veneer
Shining bright as dark can get,
And make underlying ground all wet.
Rejuvenates the tiring soil,
Nature's fuel to keep her toil.

Many days was there a drought,
And have done such rain without;
This pour of water cleanse the earth,
Place of life and of new birth.

This drought I've seen, this drought I've been,
So I return, come back and then
Cleanse me of my absence shame,
Send abroad a single drop of rain.

I'm really sorry I was gone so long, but I think I'm back and ready for action again!...I don't have the time to reply to all the poems that were posted while I was gone just now, but I'll do my best to get to them later! Just wanted to let you guys know--the Dragon is in the house!

I'm so glad to see you all again!

Little Spyro T. Dragon

"And God said, 'I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no longer become destruction.' "

this is superb...very well written and expressed ... full of maturity and depth... a young poet coming into his stride...

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch
You never knew what I loved in you
I don't know what you loved in me
Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be
