throughout my darkened existance
I see a bright light
the light all too familiar
it is the light of love once thought extiguished
a ray of hope once lost but found again
it shines on me like the sun
filling me with hope and fulfillment
I had forgotten love's warm touch
to feel it's tender kiss
I want to feel them once again
the heart that once crumbled in my hands
beats with glorious joy
determined I sail through my sea of sorrow and pain
using that beautiful light as a guide
to find what I had once lost
and may hope to find again

Wish I had that light more often! This shows you've got another light going for you, and that's the one of intelligence!   Beautiful poem, Lonely Shadow!
