S. Dali’s Clock

Clock watching
slow, halting jumps
of the minute hand
in perfect rhythm
to my tapping fingers
Impatience
Shaking my head
as the hour hand
creeps downward
minute by minute
My vision blurring
as the clock becomes
a manifestation
of Dali’s mind
Dripping
sliding down the wall
Time spilling
across the bare floor

It takes real imagination to capture anything
Created by Dali and repaint it with words. WELL DONE! Dennis :^)

Gary, the way you've written this poem is very like the way Dali paints.  I found this remarkable in it's style and imagery.  Very nice work.
