I called it peace as I left you forlorn and desolate in the shadows of my mind you called it denial and laughed and smiled at my reckless heart you knew I'd be back God you knew I'm always walking out and always running back I never know why or how you stay but you do this I can count on like the sun's rise or the air I breathe just like you know I'll come back to you every time I leave |

O.K., You went and got me crying, now. Maya - he does know and he will always be there!....ALWAYS! Don't make him wait forever for the only peace that will ever allow your heart to rest. What more can I say?! Michael has expressed the feelings and words I have in reading this. When someone is in your life and affects you this way........ take hold of what is in front of you and never let it get by you. Love like this is rare! |

I went through something like this in my first marriage, although probably for different reasons. I'm glad I never went back the last time I left. I wish I hadn't gone back after the first time I had left. Well anyway, that's off the subject at hand...great poem! Denise |
