When someone can make your day so grand
Just by a spoken word, a gesture..or a smile;
When he says the right words at just the right time
To make what you're going through all worth while..

It's Magic

When he sends you a gift, unattached by strings
Just to let you know he understands..and cares
And that gift appears unique and clevery designed
To remind you that all is not as it sometimes appears..

It's Magic

When someone sends a card bearing a rose of silk,
Telling the story of lovers, sadly parted for a time
And you feel the mystique that's enclosed within
As you hold this precious gift in your tembling hands..

It's Magic

The magic is true, the magician all the more real,
At times when I am least expecting it, he appears;
The spell that he casts is drawing us closer indeed,
His potion has the ability to dry up all my tears.

His spell? Showing me that he actually cares,
His potion? The words that he wisely utters to me;
Spoken in love, they encourage and strengthen..
Now, if that isn't special magic..then what can it be?
