Field of wildflowers beneath my feet,
sing softly in the summer heat.

Sway gently in the gentle breeze,
speak sweetly ere my heart to ease.

Your colors glow in golden light,
your scent invades the darkest night.

Your fragile petals bring such bliss,
their velvet freshness I long to kiss.

To lie with you, in nature’s bed,
that softest down for weary head.

This last I beg with humble plea,
forever pledge your love to me.

Oh, Peg, this is loveliness itself! I appreciate the dedication too. I feel like I was just in a fragrant meadow and had a beautiful spring moment! You make it all so alive and real! Ellie

Oh, it would be a heartless flower indeed who did not grant your every wish!

To love another person is to see the face of God.

There truly is something special about wildflowers...and you've enhanced it well, Pegasus!
We can see the meadow, smell their fragrance...love it!
