only a little wasp wonder
only a little star fly
ignited saltweed coast
crimson flicker
in the stratosphere
hearing like an earwig does
floating light on the water
wait
high in the silence
transluscent ebony quake
easy crystaline tombstone
element ocean spins
filing a goodbye note
to tomorrow
with love
and tears of rainbow gold
hope is in the wings
for a starfield far away
heated hopes drift twining
marmelade in your mind
a coffecup full of dreams
fly open into the swirling night
crackling sparkles flame rises
in two worlds we sit
by a fire
see the shining phosphorous waves
far out where all waves meet
and the horizon is calm

Wow I loved it!! The coffee cup full of dreams was the best line for me. Wow.

Hi, Allan; It is so good to see your poems here again! This is so lovely, flows like a dream, as I remember your poetry always being wonderful. Ellie

Thanks Swampy! It was nice to see you get that link to Donovan - 'Sand and Foam' was in my mind at the time...
