My Secret Wish As I sit here and ponder I quietly think of you, I am so in love with you, but I don't know what I should do. I wish I could confess to you the way that I feel, But if those feelings weren't reciprocated, I stop and ask myself, How would I deal? So, I have no other choice, But to keep my longing for you a secret, One that no one else knows but me, My feelings remain hidden deep within my heart, Only you can set them free. My secret wish is that one day you and I are together, That you take me in your arms and hold me forever, I want to be with you every waking moment And when I sleep at night, But what can I do to make you see the light? You are always in my thoughts and dreams, I can picture you in my future too, But even it my secret wish never becomes a reality, I will never stop loving you. |

This poem as well as my other one "If I Only Had One Chance With You" is about the same guy who I have such strong feelings for. As I explained in my poems, I am too scared to tell him, but he drives me crazy. What I should do about it, I just don't know. I have often thought of giving him the poem since it is about him, but I don't want to scare him off or lose his friendship. I guess only time will tell.Thanks all for listening. I appreciate it a lot. |
