If I could fly, my love
I would wing to you,
down to the southern seas,
on a storm front of emotions
to crash through your dark skies.

Listen to the thunder;
the frantic beats of my wings
as closer and closer I soar,
riding high through the clouds,
with a turbulent passion to find
the one who calls me from afar.

A flash of  brilliant light
blinds you to my arrival,
I am here! Do you not see me?
It is I, the storm of our love
that you called into being.

"Come...dance with me, into my world of words."

powerful emotions riding this storm..nice ones, though..yes, I feel you.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Oh, Wordancer, The passionate analogy in this poem of love's deep longing has left me all a quiver!  Ellie

This is so beautiful and intimate, I have been reluctant to intrude with a reply, but I do love it.
