Late at night, when I'm alone, < !signature-->and the silence closes in on me, I weep quiet tears. In the dark, they run down my cheeks. If only you knew how you stir my heart. I have loved you for so long. How I dream of your sweetness in my lonely room. To feel your warmth close to mine, your hair like down on my chest. Your breath invades my pores, infusing me with your vibrance. This torture that I bear, I bear in the secret places of my heart. You will never know, my love, the one who loves you best. The friend you see will never be the lover you seek. It is written in your eyes, like the sentence of death to a condemned man. Friend. Only that. Ever that. I will worship you from afar as I always have. As I always will. I will be your friend until the final breath escapes my body.
