------------------------------

the blue sun recoiled
off a shimmering red sea
the world turned purple

This is enchanting, I love it! ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Wow, that's an awesome haiku - that opens a whole new idea of haiku for me - a gently touch of the surreal... Amazing.
