I live in the "Natural State"
At least they claim it's so,
Others may call it a Hick place
For Hillbillies, don't you know!

It's had some bad publicity
And Bill C. didn't help at all,
But don't believe all the bad you hear
About my Arkansas.

Yes, it is a Southern State
Of moderate climate extremes,
And many Senior Citizens come
To live out their retirement dreams.

In the North are rolling hills
Of Ozark scenic fare,
We also have natural Hot Springs
Where you can soak away your cares!

There's a Park where Diamonds are found
Where a Prospector, you can be,
In search of elusive gem stones
You're giv'n the opportunity.

Or if you are a sportsman
For somewhere else, don't be wishing,
For hunting deer--it is the best
And there's lots of good ole fishing!

There are historical landmarks
And homemade crafts galore,
By many a down home craftsman
Featured in it's country stores.

I would be remiss not to mention
And I think you will find this true,
It's people are exceptionally friendly
And will warmly welcome you.

So if you're planning a vacation
Or a move to a Different state,
You might want to consider Arkansas
Many here find it to be Great!
