as evenings cloak wraps around my room,
i lay silently in bed,
listening to the memories,
we have both shared.
i smile as i lay there,
remembering how ,
you looked at me once long ago.
how smiled,
each time i spoke.
i lay there lost in the memories.
lost in remembering the way it felt,
as you held me tight.
i can't wait till i can see you smile,
to feel your hand touch mine once more,
i lay there wondering do miss me.
do you remember everything,
do you.

Great poem.

I don't think they could forget you with the heart you have. Great way to put the joys you've had and sorta sad for the loss. I hope to read more of your posts.

So beautiful, yet wistful. Very well done. I remember things as this and still at times shed a tear at the loss and a smile at the memory.
