The new year beckons to me
Come see what’s in store
Past year full of blessings
Next to bring many more

I look upon this passing year
My smiling heart recalls
Miracles I've witnessed
Gifts received large and small

Grateful for close family
The blessing of good friends
Laughter of my grandchildren
Grace without an end

A new year full of promises
Amazements I can''t wait to see
Miracles God has in store
For my family and me

If the words do not come anymore
If all you feel is confused
Perhaps it's not your mind that errs
Rather that you need a new muse!
