Oh my, what's this before my eyes?
O what a marvelous surprise!
'Twasn't like this at all last night,
But look at it now--oh what a sight!

That bare scotch pine that we drug in,
Has come alive, with lights blinkin'
With a glowing angel on the top,
May all these wonders never stop!

But look below and all around,
Presents everywhere are found
With bright paper and happy bows,
Just what's in them--no one knows!

And look there on the mantle place,
It too, now has a happy face
With stockings stuffed with Christmas joy,
A candycane, a doll, a toy?

Oh what a super fun-filled day,
I'm glad that Christmas has come our way
Why do our parents sleep in so late?
Don't they know that we can't wait?

It sure looks our home's been Christmas kissed,
How could I have slept through all of this????

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

How sweet...a child's view of Christmas is perfectly described in this!

Merry Christmas!

Oh how I remember the sweet look of innocent children. Now they are grown and gone but they can see the look in their childrens face.

Dear David; Only you, my friend, who has the heart of a precious child, could write this delightful poem. I so admire your childlike wonder....promise that you'll never grow up? Love, Ellie
