I did the washing this morning -
hung up my heart by mistake.
It began to rain.

(the grime ran into a drain and girgled
down
and down
and down
and the salt evaporated).

and when the sun came to dry it

I saw it c-r-a-c-k, like the ground
sucked of all moisture in a drought.

So I watched as shards splintered,
broke off, fell
as an autumn leaf - collected on the floor,
where you swept the pieces up
and
like a jigsaw puzzle
put them together again.

I did the washing again today -
the initials J.C. stained the white cotton
of the robe I hung on the line
and it began to rain.

(the blood ran into a drain and girgled
around
and around
and around
in my heart)

and when the sun came to dry it

I reached out, and like a piece of
jigsaw puzzle
fixed it in place
on me.

I wear you,
and with my mended heart
bleed tears of thankfulness.

Very touching. Very deep, it came spiraling out of the midst of your heart. Like a blessing it came forth, causing the rain to flow from my eyes. I was really touched by this one, it had the depth of the ocean behind it. You must truly be a chosen one, for I see the revelation of God within your words. Let God increase you by sharing what He has given you.

Thank you Femme's Father but all the credit
goes to God for this was entirely God-inspired - i didn't even need to edit it!
Amen to one who gives us a gift and lets us
use it to his glory.
