A Simple Thank You

Whoever knew that I would find
Such loving people, and so kind.

A place to go to share our views
A place to hear of happy news.

Wonderful words about our Savior
Filled with descriptions full of flavor.

A place to go to tell the world
About our wisdom kept in pearls.

Thanks you Lord for all you’ve done
Thank you Lord for what you’ve begun

This common place for us to share,
A place to go to show we care.

You have touched our lives in every way
Shown us through verse, just what to say.

Help us to reach the world, Dear God,
To tell of the gift that you made ours.

The gift of eternity, forever with you
The gift of forever that will be ever new.

I know this is an extremely simple poem.  But it means alot.  I'm glad to have found people that share my views.  So a simple verse to give great thanks.      Angela

Angelia, I "ditto" Ellie's reply. You are a breath of Spring air. The poem is beautiful.

Angela, I think most here share in your Thank you, I know I do!  Such a sweet poem, and the Lord sure does love a simple thank you prayer!  God bless you!

Simple is just the way we like it
And God does too!

This is a wonderful, heartfelt poem. One in which I know I feel the same.  Thank you for sharing it with us!

The words you speak friend, are words which echo the sentiments of many around here.  I know I feel that way, and so do so many more, who have been blessed with a place they can feel at ease and at home on the net among Brothers, Sisters and Friends.  And many times the most simple of words and expressions are the Best.  We are glad & blest to have you among us.  God Bless you,  David
