My life's billboard listed all I wanted to achieve
Plus the learned hard cold fact it was all up to me
For life, I felt I'd been given a kit
Which would become what I made of it

I toiled so hard for long, long hours
Never stopping to smell the flowers
To my marriage, I gave with all my heart
Yet still I could feel it falling apart

My work for a very close family
Seemed to only make everyone disagree
Though I strived to have all of one accord
A friend said they can't be without our Lord.

So my life's billboard had to change
All my priorities rearranged
Now MY LORD is billed big across the top
And all the old things are dropped

There's a new one for which I pray
That we all come to know and grow in faith
I no longer see life as a kit to be made
But an eternal gift for which Christ paid

I see Your Billboard
After much devisement
Has now become a Paid advertizement
Giving top billing
Unto the Lord-
For He footed the Bill-
Thus He's by you adored.

This billboard challenge is so wonderful!
I enjoyed your Billboard poem which like
Rebeccas has it's truth in advertizing--a wonderful testimony!  David

Sandgrain,
Looks like you've stared down many a challenge on the highway. I like where you put top billing. Nice work!

Amen sandgrain, You have the right billboard up now! Amen. I just came from a joyous bask in the love of Jesus and little on fire, forgive my preachin', you are a precious sister, but I had to exhale and now I see your Jesus sign up, I got to say, I love the fellowship of people lifting Him up. amen

OK I'm back. Sorry about that! It's the only way to be is to have him forefront. It is a drastic change in life when we decide to do that. I well remember going through those changes at home, and remember it wasn't easy. But hey, look at us now    We're together all under one accord, getting to know God better through our studies! See ya at bible study tonight
