His wins
His losses
His name
He can't remember

His friends
His family
His wife
He can't remember

His wins
His losses
His name
I remember

His friends
His family
His wife
I remember

I remember the love he gave me
I remember the love I gave him
He can't remember
But I remember for him

Buddha,

This is a touching piece, and one to which those who have experienced this strange and sad malady  in the life of a loved can readily relate.  Patience and gentle forbearing are such great virtues under such circumstances. Thank you for sharing this with us,    David

Your compassion comes shining through in this piece. I know what this dreadful disease is like having worked on an ALZ. unit and now having a brother-in-law experiencing the same condition. It is so sad for the families of these patients.

This is sad, and I'm sure hard on all who are involved. I've heard that they live in the past, try to make a photo album of things from their past if your able, to help them remember those things. I heard a story on that once, from a lady, whether on TV or not, I can't remember. Though she said it helped!

Shall be in my prayers.

Compassion is the greatest help a patient can get.  Yours definitely comes through.  It's such a wonderful thing with these patients, as no one but God knows how you're being the voice and memory for them and keeping loves warmth alive.  Bless you.

You are so beautifully compassionate here. God bless you and keep you and your loved ones. He now has the innocence of a child. All is not lost because he has lived. And you carry this on in a beautiful way! My prayers for you and your loved ones.
Sincerely,
Rwood

You say it all here, Buddha, and most eloquently ....
God Bless .....
