Who - Why - When

Who will wipe the tears away, When I am left alone?
Who will cheer me up you see,
When I am growing old.
Who will say I'll care for you?
When others pass me by.
Who will take the fear away?
When I can't sleep at night.

Who will calm my weary nerves?
Who will pray for me.
Who will offer hope again?
When theses blinded eyes can't see.
Who will say, I missed you so?
When time between us comes?
Who will say I Love you?
My Daughter or my Son.

Who will stand beside my bed?
When my last breaths are slow.
Who will touch my trembling hands?
When it's time for me to go.
Who will be there waiting?
When my eyes are open wide,
When I step across Old Jordan,
With my Father by my side.

Who will lead me gently?
As I cross that promise land.
Who will say WELL DONE MY CHILD!
Welcome home my Friend!

The answers lie within the pages,
of a book so old and worn,
it starts in Genesis,
and ends in Revelations, with hope forever more.
So if you've every asked your self,
any one of theses,
Remember the Who, the When, the Why,
Is FOUND IN CHRIST OUR KING

   Sandy,
This is beautiful!  Wonderful counsel for the hurting, needy soul in much need of reassurance, redirection & reconnection--Your poem here helps in all three aspects.
All I can say is: Keep 'em coming, we appreciate your worthy efforts!   David

It is through my own hurt and my own victorys I have learned that no matter how hot the Battle sweat is the Victory through Jesus our Lord, I am glad you liked it,

Another beauty from your pen (keys). I really can't think of anyone I know with deep faith, who hasn't been through some really tough battles in life.  To me, this is the beauty God forms when we hand Him our broken hearts.

This is a wonderful poem! Yes, God will be there with us from the beginning to the end, even when we think we are alone!

Dear Sandy; You are so gifted! This is a beautiful poem. I know that when all is said and done, we are all alone with Him, when it seems that no one else there. So lovely.
