There is this word,
that is used to often.
Though only a four letter word,
many minds and hearts it has softened.
It is a word used to represent,
feelings few can descrbe.
Though it slips from people's tongues,
like a struggling parents bribe.
Its meaning has been altered,
and has never stopped being stretched.
To represent feelngs,
which the similarities are so far fetched.
In a world of little truth,
but full of unending beauty.
I bring this complint forward,
and assign you the duty.
Of protecting this word,
and of keeping its meaning true.
Because someday there will be,
someone who truly loves you.

very lovely poem...yes, love is an overused word...but hopefully  not taken for granted when its said to us--accompanied by the true emotion. Welcome to Passions...you will "love" it here...everyone is incredible!!!!
take care, janet marie

Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme,
They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-
remain the most beautiful words ever heard.

Welcome! There is already someone who truly loves us! That would be God! This sounds like you are hurting! Sometimes that word can be misused that's for sure. But God is true and His love is pure and honest!

Where there is faith,
there is love.
Where there is love,
there is peace.
Where there is peace,
there is GOD.
Where there is GOD,
there is no need.
