Terror from the skies again.
New York has suffered so.
Terrorist or accident?
Perhaps we'll never know.
Our only solace, God, is You,
Our only safety net.
May this tragedy remind us
What we tend to forget,
That God alone can save us
From that which brings us harm.
We're turning back to You, Lord.
We're crying with alarm.
You are there with those who suffer.
Please let them feel Your love.
Though the skies bring horror,
You're still in charge above.

Hmmmm. Did I miss a new event in New York?

"Terror from the skies again.
New York has suffered so.
Terrorist or accident?
Perhaps we'll never know."
as this section says to me that it can't be the 9/11 incident as there is certainly no doubt that that was an intentional act of terror.

Va.
P.S. It's good to have time to spend here again, although, I'm really neglecting some much needed chores.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

My goodness VAS.  I don't know where you've been.  Yes, I was writing of the plane crash into New York this morning.  Joyce

Joyce; You are indeed right, He is our only safety net.  Oh how thankful I am to know Him.  Wanda

Joyce,

My prayers do go out also to those in Queens who have suffered so very very much loss of life, heartache, and destruction.  -Bob

Wonderful prayer, Joyce.  My heart and prayers go to the people of New York who all suffered so.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

So terrible and my prayers added to all the others. These dear hearts need our prayers to help bear this burden ...too much, Please Lord have mercy..Ellie

Thanks to all for reading and commenting.  I am so happy to see that we may be getting to the end of this awful war and I trust that once more we will live in a safe environment if we turn to God for our refuge.  Joyce
