Why are you sad my child?
I have seen your good deeds.
You stand and shout my name,
In a river of blowing reeds.

But does the bending reed hear?
This I most certainly know.
For all things are known to me.
So stand firm and watch the reeds blow.

Tis true, the reed is weak.
But also, it can bend.
So stand and shout my name.
And let your voice be like a powerful wind!

For the wind strengthens the weak.
And most certainly heals the bend.
So praise and shout my child.
And be my triumphant wind!

For without the blowing wind,
What purpose would there be?
To stand in a still river,
And shout of victory.

For the wind is the word of God.
And you are the unbending reed.
The still river is the world.
So stand and shout, that I may praise your good deed!

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.  Mt:5:4

Keith,
I thank you ever so much for that poem I know was meant for me. It reminded of a poem I submitted to the forum entitled "A TREE"(Please look it up and read it!) You reminded me that even though the winds may come, because made me a Strong Tree, I'll bend but won't break.  That my leaves that have fallen are just His way of telling me that another season has gone by. With my arms outstretched, my feet firmly rooted in the ground, I will stand tall. Though I hurt and am in pain. I will stand.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and i thank God for bringing you to Passions and blessing my life.  Good Deed My Son, Job Well Done!!!
"And the weak shall be made Strong". My strength will come. Thank you!!!

Very nice!  Just like a parable you'd read in the bible!

 <*\\\><
Where there is faith,
there is love.
Where there is love,
there is peace.
Where there is peace,
there is GOD.
Where there is GOD,
there is no need.

Majestic-

You are true to your name! This was majestic- maybe I should stop being sad, and smile! This made me smile, thanks for the smile. This stanza was especially liked:

You said:
For without the blowing wind,
What purpose would there be?
To stand in a still river,
And shout of victory.

We all have obstances to overcome that will make us stronger against the odds. Thanks my friend.
