~Cowboy's Poetry~

                                      Cattle bleat
                                in the prairie wind,
                            dust storm at his back,
                           he protects the little calf
                          from diamond back attack.
                         Riding high upon his saddle
as his ol' palomino strides along,
he and mother nature sing a cow polk's song.
A free spirited poet dressed up in faded jeans
         rustlin
g Passion's pages with rawhides serene.
      Someti
mes in the clearing when stars appear,
    seems ti
me goes on 'ever in the atmosphere.
   Up past th
e heavens, God is smiling bright
  Though the
word of angels gifted to write
I'm greatfully thankful to the influence
Mr. Mark Bohannan's  been to me
      through his heavenly passion
          for his cowboy's  poetry.

Wow! Bob, This is fantastic! The beautiful words and the hat are a work of poetic art. Wait til he sees this! You guys are such a blessing here at spiritual! Love, Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Bob, Mark will love this...what a hat! And the symbolism is only venerated by the words contained therein...you've done a remarkable piece here and fortunately for me, I've room in my library...{~,^}

okay.......now who is the sneaky one...    Thank you dearly my friend for this and you gotta know that I love it.  Not only do you honor me highly in your words and your kindness but you present it in the form I most enjoy.  I will not even try to express how much this means to me but I have a feeling that you know already.  Thank you for you, for this, and for shining so brightly and if just one of my writes inspires you or anyone else to stretch then that in itself is good enough reason for me to continue to write.  You may not know it but this piece of yours has helped me to decide to keep on writing as I was wondering if it were time to rest my pen.

Applauding you on this one! What patience it must take to create a hat, all with words. The poem fits perfect, in more ways than one.
I am sure Mark will love this.
