They tell me Jesus died for my transgressions,
And that He paid that price a long time ago.
When HE came and died for me...
On that hill called Calvary,
But there's something else I want to know..

Does HE still feel the nails,
Everytime I fail?
Does HE hear the crowd cry crucify AGAIN!!
Am I causing HIM pain?
Then I know I've got to change,
I just can't bare the thought of hurting HIM.

It seems that I'm so good at breaking promises
And I treat HIS precious grace so carelessly.
But each time HE forgives,
What if HE relives...
The agony HE felt on that tree?

Holy is the Lord....

~song by Ray Boltz

~hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy singing it.

It was HIS Love for you that held Jesus to the cross, not the nails... Thanks for sharing.  Bob <><

The Bible actually says in Heb 6, that those who turn back to sin, crucify the Son of God a fresh and put Him to an open shame.  Hebrews also says in chapter four that we have a High priest who is in touch with the feelings of our infirmities>  Yes- Jesus knows and Jesus cares- therefore our sin must sadden Him greatly, yet He continues to love us!   David

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it!!!  I go from church to church doing the special music.  I have never sung this song without seeing someone in the audience with tears in their eyes.  It's a nice feeling to know that the Lord is using me to reach others. Those that  I see crying, I later go up to them and give them a book entitled Steps To Christ.  So far everyone has enjoyed it.  If you guys are interested I can mail you one...it's by Ellen G. White.  It's free of cost...just my way of witnessing to my PIP brothers/sisters. email me if you want one.  don't just forward to the above address...you have to actually write it out..I have an unsecure cookie and my mail goes to my sisters inbox if you don't specifically typeit.  Hope to hear from you guys.
