God is like a magnet
He keeps drawing me back to him
When I stray and wander
I feel his pull from my soul within

No matter what path or road I take
The pull is always there
Gently guiding, nudging me
In the direction I should take

His pull draws me close to him
When danger and temptation come my way
And pulls me from the things
That pull the opposite way

His pull is like a guiding star
And if I keep my faith in him
I will be able to find my way home to him
With the guiding pull from him.

Geo, You are so right! Praise His Holy Name.
Your lovely poem reminds me of a personal testimony shared later.

I think the key to the magnet within, is to keep a prayer in our hearts or the love of God within, even when we can not feel Him. Really enjoyed your poem, it spoke to me.

We have such an AWESOME GOD! Great reminder that He's always there for us, and not letting us stray too far from home.
