Magnetic Moon
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

Have you ever seen the moon so low
that it touched the earth's horizon?
Have you ever seen it rise so high
that even the stars are hiding?

I have seen it crescent.
I have seen it full.
I have seen it haloed,
with such magnetic pull.

The force that rules the ocean
and the hearts of woman and man.
The magnetic pull of emotions
when shining full across the land.

What a source of energy,
encased within it's orb.
Energy cascading
causing hearts to soar.

Magnetic moon of love
shining so very bright,
causing hearts to surrender
on this full-moon night.

Beautiful, Marge. I like the imagery,
the symbolism, the mood, the form.
The rhyming did not sound contrived,
as the right words just seemed to fall
naturally into the right places.

Willem - Thank you so much. The words were simply pulled from me by the magnetism of the moon. So glad you enjoyed.
Welcome to Passions.

Thanks, Hoot ! The true imagery hangs in the sky tonight. So lovely that she shines her light upon us all.
