I wrote this one soon after I broke up with my girlfriend. It really got to me and I could't leave the house for days.

Once the plastic kingdom melted
he turned and walked away,
The respite of dissapointment
could not out last the day.

The sun that shone so brightly
now burned upon his back,
His brief defence of happiness
had now began to slack.

The moments of perfection
had drifted with the sand,
A soon forgotten tourist
travelling through this happy land.
