“Hell”

The smoke of their torments shall evermore rise-
Neither time, nor eternity, silence their cries.
“Are these victims of chance, or design”? you suppose?
But the Bible makes plain it’s the path which they chose.

There’ll be weeping and wailing, and gnashing of teeth,
Crying, and cursing, but never relief.
Torment and agony, darkness, and hate-
Repentance and prayer, but forever too late.

“Vessels of wrath”, the scriptures proclaim-
The choice was their own, they have no one to blame.
Their sin and rebellion brought them to the spot,
Where the fire is not quenched and the worm dieth not.

They need not have gone; what a terrible waste-
The Water of Life they will now never taste.
Forever estranged, by a gulf deep and wide-
Souls lost forever! For whom the Lord died.

The Scriptures state clearly, “He died for all men”.
To make an atonement, and pay for their sin-
So call on the Savior and all will be well....
And you’ll never need fear the torments of Hell.

He couldn't have made it any easier for us, could He? Well done.
