Upon my boat, barely afloat
adrift in raging seas
Seasick with sin and hate within
driven by misery
The blowing gales that fill my sails
are winds of desperation
Trying to get away from life today
and corruption of creation
At the birth of mother earth
it all began quite well
But to our dismay each passing day
brought us closer to hell
So now I fight with all my might
against these frenzied seas
To see just if there still exists
Blessed serenity

Clever way of writing this. As I read, I envisioned a pirate looking character reciting this. Ok..so, I'm rather odd..and I know you're a girl..LOL Oh well, no one's perfect!

Well, I'm sure I could be something akin to Long Jane Silver or whatever... close enough, close enough
