Oh no, here I go again!
As I trip on my own feet.
Please bend down and pick me up
And help me to my seat.

This new dance that you do out here
Leaves me tangled and confused.
I feel like a floppy ragdoll.
And I'm sure you're all amused.

Standing in the line for shiny dancing shoes,
When they were handed out, two left ones I received.
Now as my dancing partner sees the clumsy way I dance.
When the music's finally over, I'm sure he is relieved.

So just plop me at a table
And put a drink in hand.
The dance floor is a safer place
If I just sit and toast the band.

Perhaps Denise was given two right ones since I have the two left ones!
