I wrote several poems today, and id really like for you to read them all, but I don’t wanna take up to mush space on this board, so here they are: Dearest Andrew, At this point a year ago, I never thought I’d have to see you go. Each day I saw you, My love grew even more true. My love for you grew more, As I held the rose I wore. I never thought I’d fall, Never thought I’d give my all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When I was younger, I always heard them say, ‘distance makes the heart grow fonder’ I never saw those words as true, until he walked back into my life. I can no longer deny the love my heart holds for you, You must know this love is true. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I never even thought of being in his arms, Where I can resist all harm. A week ago today, I knew exactly what to say. My secret came out, With little thought. Before then, He was little more than a friend. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You live your life and I’ll live mine, And if we meet in another place and tyme, Don’t bother to send me a sign. We’ve said goodbye, now leave it at that, You left me cold, you left me flat. You said you loved me, You said we’d always be, Now you just want to be free. Some say I have too much love to share, Too much worry, too much sorrow, too much flare. I will sit and love, With out a push or shove, I will take flight as a dove. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Every day I see your face fade away To black it goes Anyone knows Where it goes. If all is past, Why must it go so fast? He always said he loved me, But I just wanted to be free, Now hes free and I’m taken, And yet he thinks I'm fakin’ His love ain’t worth all he says it is I’d have more fun getting rid of this frizz In his arms is where I’d like to be, But I’m taken and hes free. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, that’s all I wrote today, so please tell me what you think Much love, ~~~Tamma~~~ |

most of these were written for my boyfriend, andrew, who lives in connecticut, while im stuck in west virginia |
