Your kisses seemed so long
Your words were so meaningful
You reminded me of every song
My life was just wonderful

You talked for hours on the phone
You made sure everything was all right
Your voice reassured that I wasn't alone
My dreams of you lasted all night

But now your kisses are stories to be told
Your words are floating in my head
The songs are starting to get old
And my life feels so dead

Your phone calls are now no more
The worries you had are through
Your voice has faded too far
And now my dreams are very few
