I’m sorry if I hurt you
Or if I made you mad
The fact that I have done this
Has got me feeling really bad
I didn’t do it intentionally
I couldn’t if I tried
I’m sorry if I bruised your soul
Or took away your pride
I care for you a lot, you know
You hold a special place in my heart
In my opinionation
There’s no better way to start
Than forgiving and forgetting
When I apologize
I wish to see a smile
And affection in your eyes
Whenever you are mad at me
My heart, it feels a tug
So let us settle our disputes
With a talk and with a hug

this is totally true. it fits everything to almost everybody. you can really show what you're feeling!

This is a wonderful poem. You have a little problem with your meter in the middle. Tripped me up, otherwise this is wonderfully done.
