This song is much like a poem I posted recently. I just changed a few words and added some things to make this a song I wrote on the guitar. Just reading it, it sounds a little choppy but in the song it drags out and sounds cool...

Verse 1
Words do stain a guilty shoulder
I tremble now; cause now it's colder
Forget the past that you lied to me
You played a game I couldn't see

Chorus
Plastered pride on your skin
Shameless as your sins
Tears collapse everywhere
Secrets so unfair

Verse 2
Carry the dreams - avoid the real
The poisonous life that almost kills
The cruel days that never end
A smile of ecstasy you refuse to lend

(Chorus)

Verse 3
Strong phrases tossed about
False feelings can only amount
Damp rags drying my eyes
Our love was built on lies
