You've gone behind my back
said those words
but acted like everything was fine when we would talk

Why did you put on that act
I could see right through it
your so fake

You wore your mask around me
but revealed your evil side to others
and told them lies about me

You never were a good friend
you would act so strange sometimes
you were difficult

You hated it when I was with with my best friend
you would act jelouse
like I wasn't allowed other friends

I wonder what goes on in your mind
what you think of yourself
how you expect to keep friends

I've seen who you really are
figured out if you were a true friend
and you failed

The test of a true friend
is a test you didn't pass
and now you fail to still be my best friend

On this day
I leave you in the past
and replaced with a true friend
who's past the test
unlike you

Poe: The betrayel of a friend is always a difficult and often, heart breaking thing to discover and go through.
But just remember if they were that kind of "friend" to go behind your back in the first place, they mustn't have been a friend at all.
Things will look up and just always think of the real, true friends you already have and haven't lost.

Excuse the lightheartedness (is that a word?) of this reply, but i am have trouble sleeping and have taken nightquil and as a result, am a tad tipsy. Just remember in the scheme of things, your friend's betray doesn't have any lasting effects (affect?), so maybe you'll never be friends again, but at least forgive him in your heart, even if he never knows it...wait was your friend male...i can't remember!
